TEENS MINISTRY
Jesus Youth is a Catholic Youth Movement with a Charismatic Spirituality spread across India and a few other countries around the world. It is an internal endeavor to instill in youth a love for the Lord and his church and to encourage them to be catholic witnesses in a changing world. Teens Ministry is one of the several supporting ministries of Jesus Youth focusing on initiatives and sustained formation programs all over India,

targeting school students ranging from 8th to 12th standards.


We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and His might, and the wonders which He has wrought. (Psalms 78:4).

Taking inspiration from this scripture Teens Ministry aims at the all round development of teenage students which will result in their faith formation and character formation. We dream to make it possible by initiating them to a Jesus-centered life starting with a God experience. As this is the time when their personalities are molded, it is apt for them to know about the only ideal person, Jesus Christ. To create a new generation and a better world, the young generation ought not to be left in the shadows. Teens Ministry is only a lamp with Jesus as the guiding light.

Teens Ministry helps teenagers to be intellectually alert, spiritually dynamic and socially responsible. This is a platform for them to build themselves as responsible citizens. Teens Ministry also offers a continuity of relationship with friends, youth and elders by which they can get support, and work for the Kingdom of God together.


There are several ongoing National, State level and zonal level programs for the teenagers supported by Teens ministry. All these programs have helped the students to find a new God-centered life experience. By forming prayer groups and fellowship meetings at their educational institutions these teenagers present a challenging model before their fellow students. They have been proved a great support to the various ministries of Jesus Youth and to the Church itself.
